Yeah I think you are correct. My presumption is that all this will move far too fast for society to develop anything like a rational response. We will end up trying to build something new on the other side, amongst the wreckage, this is of course assuming there is another side of this and it doesn't just accelerate endlessly.
It could, and probably will, get very ugly before things have a chance to get better, yeah. I HOPE it gets better fast enough to keep up, but… I don’t EXPECT it to…

Yeah, this isn’t going to be fun. Power is an incredible attractor, and we may be building the most powerful tools in human history.
